These pictures are of Brent and Sherrie. Brent is actually Jenn’s younger brother!! I loved taking pictures of these two, they are so good together!! Brent thank you for putting off surfing for just a little while so I could get some pictures of the two of you!! Thank you Sherrie for being up for a photo shoot!! Last weekend one of my best friends in the whole world… Jenn, graduated from P.A. school.  I was so excited that I got to go “home” = NC to be there for the graduation and spend the weekend with her.  While I was there I was able to take some photos of her and her boyfriend Ben.  I have so much fun when I get to work with my best friends :).  Thank you both so much for letting me snap some photos of y’all!!

Joshua Senior Pics

I was so excited to snap a few senior pictures of Joshua.  He was a great sport and I loved the area where we shot.  Now I can’t wait to go there again.  I had a lot of fun with Joshua and his mom!  Thank y’all both for being so awesome.  It was a hot one and they just let me snap away.  I have so many that I loved so I just had to pick a few to put up….

7.10 Baby Luke

I had so much fun today with the Bobby, Susan, Joshua and Luke.  I took family pictures of Bobby, Susan and Joshua back in Jan.  They welcomed their second baby boy to the world on July 4th.  Thank you so much for letting me take a few pictures.  I couldn’t decide which ones to put up tonight, so I’m putting more than usual up.  Enjoy!!  Congrats Bobby and Susan!!

Audree & Andrew Maternity Pictures 6.13.09

Let me just say that yesterday was HOT!!!  So I had originally penciled in Audree’s maternity pictures for June 20th and b/c of some baby stuff we decided to move it up a weekend.  I’m so thankful we did, but baby Garrett will be here as of the 20th if everything goes as planned.  Audree was awesome to work with.  Her husband Andrew joined us and I got some really great shots.  We did the shoot at her mom’s house!!  I actually work with Audree’s mom and I love her soo much, so I was super excited to have the chance to do this.  

This maternity shoot was actually my first one.  Audree and Andrew were troopers, they were so patient and willing to do whatever!  Thanks to all of you for letting me shoot these awesome memories.  I can not wait to meet Garrett!!  Congrats!!!

Cinco Ranch Prom

Leslie was asked to go to another prom and so they asked me to come snap a few shots…  It was another awful day for a prom.  It was about to downpour and then did just as I was leaving…  Here are a few photos that I shot…

Bridal Portraits of Meagan

So I had the chance to take bridal portraits of my friend Meagan.  Somehow I managed to talk her into pulling out her wedding dress from when she got married a few years ago and let me take pictures.  She was such a trooper.  Luckily we had a “cold” spell come through town so instead of it being a 95 degree Friday afternoon it was nice and cool… well if you can consider an afternoon in May in Houston cool.  But anyways, she let me take her all over town and we had so much fun!!  Here are a few of the shots from the shoot.. Donald Family Portraits 5.9.09

I actually had to photo sessions today.  One this morning with Greg, Nikki and Thomas and then one this evening with Nolan, Susanna, Jim, Kathy, Adrian, Barbara and Alana (hopefully I didn’t butcher or put down the wrong name 🙂 ).  FYI.. I’m soo bad with names!!  But I did the shoot with Nolan’s family and it was a lot of fun as well.  I was actually really nervous before we started b/c it was 6pm and where we were going to take pictures didn’t have any shade so they would have been squinting and the pictures would have just not been good.  Luckily, they were super flexible so we went into Katy and took pictures there.  Here are a few of the pictures….   

Holmes Family Portraits 5.9.09

I had so much fun this morning taking Greg, Nikki and Thomas’ pictures.  They were so laid back and easy to work with and Thomas was wonderful!!  Here are a few pictures from the shoot. 

Leslie and Andrew’s Prom Pictures

I took these photos back in April at the Seven Lakes Prom.  

This day was CRAZY!!  I was taking Andrew and Leslie’s  photos that day.  Andrew looked very handsome!! 

I felt so bad for Leslie that day with it being her Sr. prom and she had a hair fiasco (but she ended up looking BEAUTIFUL as always!!) and then it rained on her and at that point I had taken two photos (one in the salon and one as she was running to take pictures with the group).  Once we got to the group the sky opened up on all of us and MY NEW CAMERA!! But I jumped in the car with Leslie’s mom and we went to Vargo’s and I was able to get some great shots of Leslie and Corey.  Enjoy…

Weddings…

I’m not going to be able to post any pictures from the weddings that I had the opportunity to be the second photographer a few weeks back, but I at least wanted to blog about them.  Scott Kelley, a Houston photographer asked me to tag along and help and be the second photographer at two weddings (the same weekend, I might also add).

 

I had so much fun and learned so much and got some GREAT photographs.  If you’re interested in having me shoot your wedding, please let me know and I’ll schedule a time where I can show you all of my work.  I really do love photographing weddings.  Even though it’s 6-8 hours on my feet, it’s so much fun and such a rush.
